Teresa Sullivan, L.Ac.
Acupuncturist, Herbalist
“Acupuncture chose me.” – Teresa M. Sullivan
Teresa never set out to be an acupuncturist. But when she discovered Chinese medicine treats the whole body seeking the root cause of aliments, not just treating the symptoms, she knew this was her calling.
Teresa has been with Whole Health Center Highlands Ranch since 2014. She holds a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her comprehensive program encompassed 2850 hours of training that included 450 hours of Chinese Herbal Medicine with 180 hours in advanced herbal clinic and 800 hours of clinical practice. Additionally, she is certified to administer acupuncture trigger point injection therapy, enabling her to address chronic and acute pain, chronic adhesions, scar tissue, and provide B12 therapy. Teresa has had the privilege of training with renowned experts in the field, including Richard Tan, Jeffrey Yuen, Whitfield Reaves, Kiiko Matsumoto, Peter Deadman, Jeff Angel, and Lonny Jarrett, further bringing a wealth of expertise to her treatment plans.
Teresa enjoys transforming those with anxiety around needles and a strong desire for healing not offered by standard medical practices into believers. Our bodies are designed to repair themselves with the right balance. The goal is to enhance that natural ability with acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, herbal remedies and other modalities to create harmony and healing rather than injury and dis-ease. Teresa works “with you” to develop a customized plan to meet those goals.
Teresa has a special interest in treating children, fertility issues/support with IUI/IVF and people going through cancer/cancer treatments along with a wide range of ailments including pain acute and chronic, arthritis, allergies, autoimmune/immune compromised disorder, emotional/mental imbalances, reproductive/gyn conditions.
Megan Jackson, L.Ac.
Acupuncturist
“Our job is improving the quality of life, not just delaying death”
Dr. Patch Adams
Medicine was always a fascinating topic for Megan and as a child she had dreams of becoming a surgeon. Following that dream she worked in Western medicine for four years bedside as a Wound Care Specialist Technician in a Burn Center ICU. After that time, while appreciating all that Western medicine had to offer and all that it had taught her, she wanted to approach medicine from a different angle.
Megan has been with Whole Health Center Highlands Ranch since 2024. She is a National Board Certified (NCCAOM) Diplomate of Acupuncture and licensed in the state of Colorado. Megan earned her Masters of Science in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. Her comprehensive program combined both clinical and diagnostic experience totaling over 2500 hours and encompassed the many different aspects that Traditional Chinese Medicine has to offer including cupping and moxabustion.
Megan has an interest in treating both the physical and emotional self. In her 3 years of clinical experience Megan has treated a wide array of diseases including pain relief and management, women's health, trauma, anxiety, depression and addiction. Megan believes in developing a relationship with her patients where they feel seen and heard. Each person is different and needs their own tailored treatment plan. She believes that the body has a natural inclination towards balance.
In her downtime Megan coaches a small group of equestrians and enjoys riding horses, gardening, reading, live music and camping. Fun fact… the first time Megan ever saw acupuncture being practiced it was on a horse!
