Dr. Selena Perez is a licensed Chiropractor and Acupuncturist in the state of
Colorado. Originally from Brighton, Michigan, she attended Eastern Michigan University
where she pursued a Baccalaureate in Biology, minoring in Biochemistry studies. Upon
graduating, she enrolled at New York Chiropractic College, where she would go on to
complete an accelerated 3.5 year-long Doctorate of Chiropractic program.
After a year of vigorous didactic studies in chiropractic, she concurrently began her

Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. This 32-month program immersed her in the
history, foundation, and application of acupuncture. While there, she was trained in
adjunctive therapies such as cupping, Asian bodywork, acupressure, moxibustion, and
gua sha, among others.
With deep familial roots in the art of healing, Selena is passionate about alternative medicine and her ability to combine Eastern and Western concepts through chiropractic and acupuncture. Both modalities are backed by years of research, and she is grateful for the opportunity to use her training to deliver the utmost standard of care. Other passions of hers include stand up paddle boarding (SUP-ing), hiking, reading, and martial arts, as she is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
